Release Prisoner Bhullar, Says SGPC

SANGRUR B- Avtar Singh Makkar,SGPC president, demanded thatDevinder Pal Singh Bhullar, convicted ina bomb blast case, be released.Makkarsaid Bhullar, who was mentally ill, shouldbe released forthwith or else the Sikhswould come to believe that the Centrewas discriminating against them.He saidraising Operation Bluestar Memorial inthe Golden Temple complex was purelyam SGPC decision and the ChiefMinister had nothing to do with it.Makkar laid the foundation stone of anadministrative block of a Gurdwara. Theblock will be raised by kar sewaks underthe leadership of Baba Jagtar Singh TarnTaran Wale.
