Those running to rule Surrey may have a minor election issue on their hands as some Indo-Canadian seniors are raging mad at the city’s proposal to remove park benches Frank Hurt Park, which is near Frank Hurt Secondary School. The area residents are asking all civic election candidates to help them to keep the benches. It might not be a burning election issue but a good example of how everyone will be pulling at the tightly wound straps of the candidates seeking public office in Surrey.
