CHANDIGARH – The Akali Dal on Monday inducted singer, social worker, former kabaddi player and sports promoter KS Makhan into its party fold.
They forgot to mention drug-linked in Canada and former Punjab black-cat as part of the troubled resume Makhan has both in Punjab and his adopted land Canada.
He was formally inducted in the party by SAD chief Sukhbir Badal, who said the multi-faceted personality of Makhan would prove beneficial in developing connect with the youth of the state.
Badal added that the singer held considerable impact over the youth owing to his songs and social service activities which have promoted Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiat.
