VANCOUVER – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly South Asian man.
Seventy-five year old Joseph Lingappa was last seen on Monday December 29th at about 4:00 p.m. at his home near Granville Street and West 70th Avenue.
Joseph is described as 5’10” tall, 180 lbs., with a slim build, dark hair and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a green bomber style jacket with a fur hood and orange lining (same as photo) and black Nike brand runners.
It is unlike Lingappa not to be in daily contact with his family and they are concerned for his well-being.
If located, please approach him and tell him he has been reported missing. Call 9-1-1 immediately and stay until officers arrive.
