AMRITSAR – Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley released a commemorative silver coin to mark the 300th anniversary of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s martyrdom.
Releasing the coin manufactured in association with the Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation (MMTC), Jaitley said there was a need to educate people about the rich history and tradition of Punjab.
He also suggested that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) make a documentary on the life and times of Banda Singh Bahadur
