2 Women Murder Their Sister-In-Law In Punjab

PATHANKOT – Police booked two women for alleged murder of their sister-in-law by torching her to death on Wednesday. Usha Rani, in her statement from her hospital bed before her death, said she had been living with her husband Raj Kumar at Ludhiana and had come to stay at her native home two months ago.

Ever since she came to stay at Sihora village in the unidivided family, her two sisters-in-law Mahna Devi and Gogi did not like it and had been querrelling with her.

On Wednesday, both her kin in a pre-planned manner, threw kerosene on her clothes and set her afire, she said in her statement before police. Both the women were absconding.
