Indian Govt Extends Invitation To A Fiji Delegation

SUVA – The Indian government has extended an invitation to the Fiji government to send a delegation to India. The Indian High Commissioner Vinod Kumar said the delegation will get to see how different products are made from coconut amongst other things.

You have large number of coconut plantations here.

Another area is that there is a sahyadri group of hospitals which is trying to work out some system of providing medical services here.

And for that some renovation and upgrading of facilities of surgeries would be required so she has offered her contribution of US$200,000 and then we are thinking that we should have meeting of the joint trade committee possibly early next year and the health joint working group is to meet next year where we could discuss more possible areas of co-operation.
