SURREY – The Dalit Freedom Network is holding their fourth annual Hope for Dalit Women Dinner, which will honour Dalit women from India and will be a special evening which will include an Indian meal, special music, craft items made by Dalit women, and an opportunity for you to hear how God is changing Dalit women’s lives.

The special guest this year is the wife of last year’s speaker Kumar Swamy. Jeeva Swamy is the National Director of DFN’s Anti-Human Trafficking Unit. Jeeva will be sharing stories of lives changed and hope restored from her ministry among marginlized women in India as well as the work with village women at our Good Shepherd Schools.

“Come learn more about the obstacles facing Dalit women and how you can bring hope and freedom to these women.  Our special project this year is to provide economic empowerment and vocational resources to former sex slaves and marginalized women.  Your practical care for these women will change their lives and their children’s future,” said a press release from DFN.
