OTTAWA – Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, welcomed the announcement made by Air Canada of a new direct flight to Delhi, India from Toronto.

The new direct flight, made possible by Canada’s air transport agreement with India, will depart from Toronto four times a week and is expected to start service in November 2015.

The direct route will help boost exports and business opportunities, enhance tourism linkages and foster Canada’s already strong people-to-people ties with India.
