Apartment Fire in Surrey leaves one dead

An apartment fire in the 13300 Block of 104th Avenue, in the Whalley area of Surrey, left one deceased person inside.
At approximately 0823 hours on Match11, Surrey RCMP received a report from the Surrey Fire Service of an apartment fire in the 13300 block of 104th Avenue.
Upon entry and extinguishment of the fire, Surrey Fire Service located one deceased person.
The investigation is currently underway, in its early stages, and Surrey RCMP Officers are canvassing for witnesses in the area.
