Hundreds of constituents joined Harry Bains, MLA for Surrey-Newton and Jinny Sims, MP for Newton North Delta for an End of Summer celebration at Unwin Park on Saturday. Children enjoyed balloons and face painting while others listened to music and appreciated a cold drink and a hotdog. The day was a great success. The weather turned out perfect; not a drop of rain and not too hot. People came by to meet their elected representatives, get acquainted with their neighbours and enjoy the festivities.
