RICHMOND – Are you someone that wants to make a difference by serving your community?  Would you like to help police Richmond to make it a safer place?  If your answers are yes, then become an Auxiliary Constable with the Richmond RCMP.

Richmond RCMP is currently recruiting 25 Auxiliary Constables to assist in supporting community police activities relating to public safety & crime prevention within the City of Richmond.

Auxiliary Constables are uniformed volunteers that have Peace Officer status when on duty.  Auxiliaries are authorized to operate police vehicles in non-operational roles & do not carry firearms.  They assist Regular Members on patrol & perform various police functions such as traffic & crowd control, and also attend special events when required.

Information sessions are being held at the Richmond City Hall Council Chambers located at 6911 No 3 Road on August 23rd & August 29th at 7 p.m.  Please note that you must pre-register by emailing [email protected].  REGISTER NOW TO ENSURE A SPOT BEFORE THIS OPPORTUNITY SLIPS BY!!!
