Blueband Digital and Youzus Partner To Offer Integrated Service Offering To Expanding Client Base

TORONTO – Digital powerhouse Blueband Digital (BBD), known for its creative, digital and user experience (UX) solutions and formidable newcomer, social media and public relations agency, Youzus, announce their joint venture recently. Under the joint venture agreement, the two agencies will continue to operate under their distinct and existing monikers while providing integrated digital and social media solutions to a growing client roster.

While still in the initial stages of the joint venture, the model has already proven successful in client acquisition in the real estate and consumer goods sectors. Both agencies will support business solutions for the current roster of clients, including, Cadillac Fairview, Parmalat Canada, Canada Basketball and Vancouver Tourism.

Now in its tenth year, CEO, Sathish Bala started Blueband Digital in 2004 to meet the growing needs of marketers in search of an agency partner that could create and deliver digitally led consumer campaigns. Youzus, a social media and public relations agency, spearheaded by Vancouver native, Sonya Gill, was created organically following requests from companies and individuals in search of building their brands online.

“Youzus was making a lot of noise in the industry,” says Bala. “It was hard not to notice. That, coupled with our desire to offer our clients more, both socially and through traditional platforms, bolstered my intention to start a dialogue around a potential partnership.”

“This partnership was a huge milestone for Youzus; after just two years of business, we were ready for the next step in our evolution,” says Gill. “Sathish and I already had a connection through mutual industry contacts and we knew that working together we would not only strengthen our business, but we could do it seamlessly, just as we do for our clients.”
