Kabir Centre Programs

Shri Hazur Ardh Nam Saheb from Kabir Ashram, Lahartara, Varanasi will be visiting Surrey Sept 30 to 0CT 5, 2014. He will give lectures at the Kabir Centre on Tuesday Sep. 30, Wed Oct. 1 and Thurs. Oct. 2 at 7pm each evening. On Saturday at 6pm he will officiate at an Anandi Chowka Ceremony at the Kabir Centre.

Storytime

Introduce children to the love of books and language!  Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and puppets for children five years and younger with their parents and caregivers.  Storytime helps prepare children to learn to read.

Advanced English Conversation and Accent Reduction Classes

Tuesdays, September 16 – November 25, 1 – 3 pm

Advanced English training for newcomers who want to improve their accent reduction, practice conversation skills and gain confidence with speaking in public.  In partnership with the Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) with funding from the Delta Literacy Committee.  Register with PICS by calling 604-596-7722.
