Canadian Eyesight Global Holds Another Free Eye Health Clinic In Vancouver

VANCOUVER – Canadian Eyesight Global, sponsored by Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford and Rotary Club of Burnaby, held a  successful Free Eye Health Clinic on Sunday December 14, at the Khalsa Diwan Society, Vancouver.

A team of Dr. David R.S.Neima, MD, FRCS(C), Ophthal., Warren Whitford and Dr. Bassra, OD, had participated along with a number of dedicated volunteers, Amarjit Sidhu, Vicky Thind, Kulwant Sekhon, Gurmel Dhaliwal, Dr. Parmjit Sohal, Tanveer Sohal, Saroop K. Jubbal and other dedicated volunteers.

CEG President Anup Singh Jubbal gave a special thanks to teams of Dr. David Neima, Warren Whitford, Dr. Bassra, Mr. Sohan Singh Deo, President, and the board of directors and dedicated volunteers of Khalsa Diwan Society, and  dedicated volunteers. Over 110 men, women and children eyes were screened. The patients were provided with free eye drops.

Canadian Eyesight Global, received an annual donation thanks giving cheque of $15,200.00 from CENOVUS Energy, Cenovus Employee Foundation, Calagary, Alberta, for restoration of eyesight and prevention of preventable blindness program in rural parts of India.
