Local Fashion designer Davi Bains-Gill will be once again delighting local fashion lovers with her annual fashion extravaganza in Surrey called Fashion Romance 2015. Bains-Gill, who is an icon on the Indo-Canadian fashion scene, having organized high end fashion shows featuring Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan, gave up a government job for her passion for fashion 16 years ago and has never looked back. She opened her Surrey-based store Armaan DBG in 2003 has since showcased her designs at a number of top international shows like the TOIFA Women’s Day Forum Fashion Show with Dia Mirza when the extravagant awards show came to Vancouver in 2013. Fashion Romance 2015, will be held Feb. 13 in Surrey at Royal King Palace at 7 p.m. and will include dinner and dance. Tickets can be purchased at Armaan DBG on 128th Street in Surrey.
