Chandigarh: A fashion, lifestyle and accessories show was inaugurated at the Kisan Bhawan here by Jangveer Singh, Media Advisor to the Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab.
The show, which was organised by Mona Singh and Manisha Singh, showcases the works of various cloth designers besides clothes from Pakistan as well as Indo- Western collections. It also has a number of stalls of gems and polka jewellery besides lifestyle items and accessories.
Jangveer Singh, who was accompanied by his wife Gurvinder Kaur, took a round of the exhibition and congratulated both designers for bringing top notch fashion to the city beautiful.
He also urged the designers to focus on dying crafts of Punjab and provide a platform for them in their shows. The designers agreed to bring innovation in Punjabi crafts to make them attractive to today’s generation.
Mrs Mona Dang while presenting a vote of thanks to the chief guest said her ground Passion Events and Exhibitions was now focussing on Chandigarh and would bring in more exhibitions and fashion shows to the city.
Products of Cal, Los Angeles, a cosmetic company, were given gratis to people visiting the exhibition as a promotion exercise.
The exhibition will continue till Monday.
