The Shushila Dwivedi Eye Hospital in Bitthoor(Kanpur, UP ,India), established by Prof. O.P.Dwivedi of Guelph, has been organizing time to time free eye surgery-camps to help the poor farmers in that area for last eight years. Recently, on the 5th and 6th February eye-camp was successfully held in Bitthoor where eye surgery was performed by Dr. Gaurav Dubey and supported by Dr. Rakesh Trivedi, Dr. Awadh Dubey, Shailendra Dwivedi and Rakesh Dixit. The SDEHospital is supported by the members of Dwivedi family of Canada and USA . Acharya S.P.Dwivedi, the younger brother of Prof.O.P.Dwivedi, is chairing the Dindayal Dube Foundation which manages the Eye Hospital of Bitthoor.
