Have you driven on Highway 1 late at night and noticed a green glow near 176th Avenue crossing – that is newly-opened Tynehead Cycling and Pedestrian overpass of Highway #1. Surrey-Tynehead MLA Dave S. Hayer along with a number of community leaders recently toured the bridge. Hayer says he spent countless hours convincing government to help build the overpass in his riding. The tremendous connector links Fraser Heights with the rest of Surrey, allowing people to walk, bike or run from one side of the freeway to the other in complete safety.
