The Global Gala event at The Portside Pub in Gastown, Vancouver on Wednesday was a delightful affair. The event is unique as it pits well known local Chefs like Siddarth Choudhary of Siddarthas Indian kitchen against others such as Korean, Japanese and Thai. The result is great food for the packed house of patrons who packed the pub! At the end of the night, it was a big win for India as Siddarthas Indian Kitchen took number One honour over SalaThai, also one of my favorites.
