Gujarati Society’s Spectacular Diwali Show This Sunday At Hard Rock Theatre In Coquitlam

BURNABY – The final event of the Gujarati Society of BC’s Navratri and Diwali Festival, the spectacular Diwali Show, takes place this weekend. The festival began September 26 in Burnaby and has presented 5 jam-packed events seeing 4,500 attendees. Their final event will serve a sold out crowd of 1,000.

*VIP Reception at 3:15pm*, show to start promptly at 4pm.

The show promises to be an entertainment packed event that showcases the talents of participants aged 3 – 73, and promotes inclusion through celebration of the light and positivity that Diwali brings. Unveiled at the event will be a Scholarship program as well as the dates of the anticipated Gujarati Cultural Festival which will bring over 10,000 delegates and visitors to Vancouver from across Western Canada and USA.

Since 1967, the GSBC has been working to preserve the cultural and linguistic heritage of Gujarati’s living here through events and education. The GSBC is a not-for-profit organization serving 3,700 Gujarati members throughout BC, and is 100% volunteer and donation driven.
