High Chai Mother’s Day Event On Sunday May 10

SURREY – A very first Mother’s Day High Chai event will be held on Sunday, May 10 at the Royal King Banquet Hall. Organizers say this highly anticipated event is memorable opportunity for approximately 600+ guests of all ages to enjoy refreshments and entertainment in a fun environment, while supporting a very worthy organization.

Citara Events, which is run by Cindy Khella and TV host Tarannum Thind, announced that partial proceeds will directly benefit the Hanna and Amelia Foundation. The foundation as founded by Dena Bassi in memory of her daughters, who both passed away. The Hannah & Amelia’s Angels Foundation strives to bring Help, Hope and Joy to communities of impoverished children in third world.

Activities at High Chai include a sweet and savory afternoon tea menu, Indian afternoon tea where east truly meets west.

The savouries and tea are Indian. Delicious miniature Katti Rolls (chicken and paneer), kabob, Indian inspired finger sandwiches, and other delicious nibbles that include a colourful and lovely mix of flavours.

The sweets are far more traditional English afternoon tea fare. Guests will be able to enjoy a selection of cakes and pastries. Macarons, scones, cupcakes and mini tarts.

Attendees will also be treated to a fabulous runway show featuring House Farola.

With pop-up shops, amazing food, live auction, entertainment, and runway show, and chances to win great prizes, the afternoon, and your sponsorship, won’t soon be forgotten.

The wonderful experience will include:
An exceptional 3 course lunch featuring an eastern and western menu.

Enjoy a variety of desserts and treats by local pastry chefs that will fill every hearts content.

To set the tone for the afternoon , Universal Decor will transform the hall into a spring oasis.

Also for the first time ever a runway show by the fabulous “House Farola”
