Richmond’s Highway to Heaven (aka Number 5 Road) is a very popular spot to learn morea bout religious and cultural harmony. Students, adults and other groups of various organizations come to visit and experience the diversity along this small yet popular strip of the road. On Saturday, April 2,a group of students from Columbia College, Abbotsford’s World Religious Class visited a number of places of worship including India Cultural Centre of Canada’s Gurdwara Nanak Niwas. The tour was spearheaded and organized by David McLarenof the Multicultural Ministries, Abbotsford. The group also visited a number of other places including a Muslim Mosque, a Buddhist Temple, a Jewish Synagogue and a Christian Church.
