Imran Khan challenges Toshakhana conviction in High Court, his lawyer says

Imran Khan has been jailed for three years on charges of selling state gifts unlawfully.

Pakistan former Prime Minister Imran Khan challenged his conviction in a graft case at the Islamabad high court, his lawyer Naeem Panjutha said as per news agency Reuters. The petition to challenge the weekend conviction had been filed in the Islamabad High court, the lawyer said.

Imran Khan has been jailed for three years on charges of selling state gifts unlawfully- Toshakhana case- during his tenure as premier from 2018 to 2022.
