India Attacks Free Speech!

India showed its continuing to crackdown on freedom of speech like their neighbour Pakistan when they ordered the arrest and grilling of cartoonist Aseem Trivedi, who’s biting satire of government corruption is beautifully displayed on his website. Courts came down heavily on government heavy handedness and immediately freed Trivedi, who defiantly said outside court: “If telling the truth makes me traitor then I am one. If I am booked under sedition for doing service to the nation then I will continue to do so.”
