Premier Christy Clark keeps on hyping her India credentials with the latest being that she and her teenage son will be flying to India on Boxing Day to help build a school in a rural village. She held the inaugural Times of India (TOI) Film Awards by giving them nearly $12 million of free money, an event that TOI will never hold again as no other government around the world is stupid enough to offer that much free cash. And she visited India recently on a trade mission to make investment inroads in India and particularly in Punjab. And now according to Kelowna’s Daily Courier, Clark is trying to teach her 13-year-old son Hamish the importance of empathy by doing something else in India. “It will show him one of the ways he can do things to make other people’s lives better,” she told the Courier. Not much is known about the trip, except that it is a “personal charity project” for their family.
