VANCOUVER — An Indo-Canadian man is among five more adults and three more youths charged in relation to last year’s Stanley Cup riot.

Manvir Singh Khatra is among the newly charged individuals, bringing the  Charges the total number of people charged in the riots to 145 individuals.

The province’s criminal justice branch released the charges and the names of the adults this week, but said no further information would be provided.

The names of the adults charged in taking part in a riot are Khatra, Brandan Arthur Joseph Drader, Jeffery Wilson Chatman, Rhys Michael Kearns and Matthew William Eakin.

Khatra, Drader, Chatman and Kearns were also charged with break and entering.

Two of the unnamed youths were charged with taking part in a riot and breaking and entering. The third youth was also charged with taking part in a riot, mischief and having a face masked with intent to commit a crime.
