SURREY – Indo-Canadian baby is the first born in Surrey in 2012. At 3:19 a.m. Jan. 1, Aditya Paul Shanasaia came into this world.
Aditya is the son and first child of 34-year-old father Darshan and mother Kalvin, 26, who was in labour for a short two hours, reported the Surrey Leader newspaper.
Darshan says Aditya was born at Surrey Memorial Hospital weighing nearly seven pounds.
Happily for Darshan and Kalvin, Aditya has spent a good portion of his first day at home sleeping.
