Shannon Weds Seema
Los Angeles based women Shannon and Seema, an Indo-American, tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Photographer Steph Grant described the ceremony as “beautiful Indian culture, stunning brides & style for miles! I have photographed Indian weddings before and I have photographed gay and lesbian weddings before, but never have I ever shot an Indian lesbian wedding. WOW.” Gay rights have made much progress in the US with the country’s Supreme Court striking down DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) and Prop 8 in California!
