BC is hosting the Invictus Games 2025 in Whistler! Last weekend, BC Premier Devid Eby joined Prince Harry and Megan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for some wheelchair curling ahead of next year’s games.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the One Year to Go Dinner at the Vancouver Convention Center on Friday as part of the Invictus Games countdown celebrations.
“The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will offer a global platform to expand the range and profile of winter adaptive sports. With deep respect, I’m also pleased to share that the Games in Canada will be held in partnership with the First Nations, in the spirit of truth and reconciliation with Indigenous communities,” said Prince Harry, patron of the Invictus games foundation.
Founded in 2014 by Prince Harry, the Invictus Games showcase the abilities of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans and honour their contributions.
