Let’s Talk About Mental Health And Drug Addiction!

Guru Nanak Food bank held it’s second series of let’s talk orientation seminars at Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib Surrey 15255 68Ave. Out of the various seminar topic mentioned in the list mental health and drug addiction were the primary topics discussed today. Sgt.JagKhosa from SPS and Dr.Mandip Minhas M.D were the main speakers who educated the audience about the above mentioned topics out of their personal experiences and knowledge.
Along with them drug addiction victim Kuljinder Gill (born and raised in Surrey) shared his own past life experiences and his journey from falling into the addiction trap and winning over it, how he chose the right path and now is a dedicated employee of Guru Nanak Food Bank.
Around 220- 250 people attended the seminar in person and around 500 people witnessed it via Facebook live and zoom meeting.
