As we head to the polls on Saturday, Nov. 15, the people running for various positions are getting desperate, especially those running for the Mayor’s post in Surrey, which is shaping up to be a three-way race between Front-Runner Doug McCallum, Linda “No Traction” Hepner and Barinder “Trailing Behind” Rasode, who were all out this week, including another Indo-Canadian mayoral candidate Vikram Bajwa, for the Surrey Board of Trade debate which was carried by CBC Live and where each candidate tried to distinguish themselves to get that final momentum for the big win. The problem with Surrey’s race is McCallum is cruising because his opponents are not really showing any traction with voters and not giving him a real challenge when it comes to decide who to choose for the mayor’s post. In a race where none of the mayoral candidates, including McCallum, have really lit a fire with voters, it could come down to who gets their vote out!!!
