Indo-Canadian model-actress Maple Batalia was gunned down on September 28th at 1:00 am in a parking lot adjacent to SFU’s Surrey campus.
SURREY – IHIT investigators say they still need more witnesses to come forward in connection with the murder of Surrey SFU student Maple Batalia.
Superintendent Dan Malo says that despite having “some success” in the investigation, there’s a difference between “knowing what the story is and proving the case before the courts.”
Malo is appealing for more witnesses to come forward, so they can make the strongest case possible before the court.
Batalia was gunned down September 28th at 1:00 am in a parking lot adjacent to SFU’s Surrey campus.
Earlier this month police seized a vehicle that may be linked to the killing.
