Southern actress Taapsee Pannu,who is looking forward to the release ofher first Bollywood film ‘ChashmeBaddoor’, is not keen on working withsuperstars.Directed by David Dhawan, ‘ChashmeBaddoor’ is a remake of the 1981 film ofthe same name.Taapsee will essay the role played byDeepti Naval in the movie.“If I get a good response from the filmI would love to do more films here. I amnot that keen on working only withsuperstars. I would love to work withyounger generation of actors,” Taapseetold .”I am waiting for the film to releaseand see the response I get before Idecide what to do,” she said.The remake version of ‘ChashmeBaddoor’ stars Ali Zafar, Siddharth,Taapsee Pannu, Divyendu Sharma andRishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The filmis set to release on April 5.
Though Taapsee will play noted actressDeepti Naval’s part, she doesn’t feelthere is any pressure on her.”I am not portraying her role the way shedid it. So there is no point of pressure
There have been changes. My characterin the film is of today’s time, she is stubborn,she can handle her life,” she said.Taapsee wants people to see the film andthen talk about the two versions of’Chashme Baddoor’.”I would want people to see the film firstand then have their opinion. It is arevamped film,” she said.
