SURREY – Eid Milan party and Pakistan-Canada flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Pakistan House in Surrey last week. The celebrations were the part of the Independence day of Pakistan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
The event was organized by Pakistan Canada Association. Consul General of Pakistan in Vancouver was the guest of honor. A colorful display of national dresses and food was a delightful ambiance for the evening, the festivities were the feature of the day.
PCA President Arfan Malik welcomed all the guests, including Consul General Shuja Alam and his team. He also welcomed Calgray PCA President, Yaseen Chaudhry.
Arfan Mlik in his opening remarks sent Eid greetings and thanks to all the guests. Malik also expressed his gratitude to the people who donated funds for the Pakistan House recently and who participated in the Wasim Akram show.
