Police cordoned off an area in South Vancouver near 45th and Fraser after several shots were fired. Police eventually found a young man holed up in a house and after some hours, the man was found dead from what police said was a self-inflicted gunshot. The incident is part of the rising gun related crimes that this week saw a young Indo-Canadian woman being killed and an Indo-Canadian gangster short in Coquitlam.
