BATHINDA – The police claimed Monday the total number of telephonic conversations between Congress leader Sukhpal Khaira and alleged drug smuggler Gurdev Singh were 26, not 78.
Inspector General of Police, Bathinda zone, Paramraj Singh Umranangal last Monday said the two had called each other 78 times in the last 11 months.
Umranangal could not be contacted. Khaira said my claim stands vindicated that the police are making false allegations.
