Promotion Hungry Taking Advantage Of Community Donations

The much-hyped Guru Nanak Emergency Services Entrance Sign was unveiled last Saturday after raising hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Indo-Canadian – mainly Punjabi-Sikh community at an invite only function organized by those who collected the money and those who got jobs as a result of this money-raising. We are sad to report that people are using such things for their own promotion or job-seeking ends while the community money is used and abused. It’s disgraceful that other than insiders, no other media was invited to this event. We urge the community to stop funding such things with your hard earned money because people are just using the Gurus’ good name to sucker people into donating! This is akin to robbing Robin Hood to promote the Sheriff!!!
