Proposal for Canada Place Street as “Komagata Maru Place”

Photo caption: This week marked 109^th anniversary of Komagata Maru Tragedy. The City of Vancouver and Province of British Columbia Proclaimed and declared May 23 as a Komagata Maru Remembrance Day in the City of Vancouver and Province of British Columbia. The City of Vancouver is also considering giving secondary name for Canada Place Street as “Komagata Maru Place” to redress BC’s racist past.
