Punjabi Literary Society Pays Tribute To Singers And Writers Lost In 2011

SURREY – Directors and well wishers of Punjabi Adbi Sangat Literary Society of Canada during its meeting held on 3 December, paid tribute to singers who have passed away in 2011.

Short story writer Shangar Singh Sandhu and Kehar singh Dhamrait told that they feel that with the death of Kuldeep Manak an age of Punjabi  folk music has ended . S Jaiteg Singh Anant praised the  literary achievements of Gurmail Madhar in the field of Punjabi short stories,  S Jagjit Singh Takhar told the life history of Kulwant Singh B.A and his association with femous Dhadi Sohan Singh Seetal, Other members S. Ajmer Singh, Shree Gute Ahir, S Kewal Singh Dhaliwal also joined with them to pay the tribute to these dead literary personalities,

Punjabi Adbi Sangat literary Society of Canada is  first such organization who is trying their best to combine the  Punjabi literary works  being created in both East and West Punjab’s.
