Saif was registered in hisoriginal name for his marriage toKareena on Tuesday Saif AliKhan, 42, the current Nawab ofPataudi, is registered as Sajid AliKhan – his original name – in hismarriage application, which hadbeen filed at the Bandra Court inMumbai.Kareena Kapoor’s agetoo, is mentioned as 31 in theapplication, indicating that it wasfiled much earlier, since theactress turned 32 on September21.Saif and Kareena’s weddingfestivities started on Sundaynight with the sangeet.
OnMonday night, the Kapoors andthe Khans drove to a Mumbaifive-star – which is also thevenue of the wedding – for dinner,and also for a last-minutecheck on the final arrangements.Saif, Bebo, one of Saif’s unclesfrom London, his motherSharmila Tagore, sister Soha andher boyfriend Kunal Kemmu,and Kareena’s mother Babita,were part of the group.
Thebride’s father Randhir, however,was missing.Around noon on Tuesday,the registrar went to Saif’s houseto register the marriage. Thecouple then exchanged rings andafter that, headed to SouthMumbai for the wedding ceremony,where they exchangedvows. Later, Saifeena’s friends – aselect group of 80 people -danced to songs from the couple’sfilms.
