Vancouver: On Saturday, August 6, 2016, Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan, who is also Member of Parliament for Vancouver South, will be hosting a neighbourhood BBQ at Riverfront Park at 2750 East Kent Avenue in South Vancouver.
Sajjan is excited to spend the day with constituents at this family friendly event.
“It’s an honour for me to be the Member of Parliament for Vancouver South, so I’m looking forward to this neighborhood BBQ as a great opportunity to speak with many of the constituents I have the privilege of representing in Ottawa, and to tell them, ‘thank you’,” he said.
The BBQ will be going all day, serving up hot dogs and veggie burgers, and there will also be face painting and fun activities for kids.
