Sanjha Vehra Fundraiser

Sanjha Vehra Women’s Association, a non-profit organization that meets monthly, held their 8th Annual Breast Cancer Cancer Fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The fun filled evening included winning door and raffle prizes, ladies from Senior Centre performing Gidha, the young lads showing their talent in Bhangra and young ladies singing and dancing till late hours of the night. The group also educates South Asian women on various topics concerning every day to day life issues by inviting professionals. They arrange health care specialists to educate ladies of all ages on various health issues, including breast cancer, heart disease, and healthy eating.
