SURREY – Shooting continue unabated in Surrey with the latest shootings taking place shortly after 9 PM on Thursday.
Surrey RCMP received several reports of shots fired in the 11000 block of 142 A Street and patrol officers were immediately dispatched to the area.
Once on scene, officers located evidence consistent with shots being fired. Officers could not locate anyone at the scene in relation to the shots fired. Witnesses reported that they observed occupants of a Black pick-up truck and a dark coloured sedan were shooting at each other as they drove through the area.
The investigation is in its early stages and Police are not able to say whether this shooting is linked to any other shootings .Officers conducted neighbourhood canvassing and spoke with several witnesses to obtain further information.
