Shots fired at residence – 11700 block of 96th Ave.

SURREY – Surrey RCMP is investigating reports of shots fired in a home on 96th Avenue early Friday morning.

Images from the scene showed a shattered window with several bullet holes. No injuries were reported.

Officers are looking for a silver car, possibly a Honda Civic, which was seen fleeing the area at the time.

At approximately 5:00am this morning (April 10th), Surrey RCMP received a report of shots fired at a residence in the 11700 block of 96th Avenue. Upon attendance, officers located evidence consistent with shots being fired at a home in that area.

This investigation is in its early stages, however, and officers are still trying to determine whether this incident is targeted. The occupants of the home are not known to police.
