Sikhism is one of the humblest and most generous faiths in the world (it is also my faith). We as Sikhs excel in giving and there is no liquid more important than the Blood that flows through us all. To remember the1984 genocide against Sikhs in India when much blood flowed in one of the biggest carriages of injustice which to this remains unpunished – the Blood Donation by Sikh Nation was started in 1999 and has spread across the globe in an ironic twist of saving live in the name of innocent Sikhs who were slaughtered in India. So far the blood drive has saved 104,000 lives and their annual campaign has started now so go out and give what is inside of you. The Blood Donation Campaign is part of an effort to raise awareness of the events of 1984 and at the same time unite humanity. The Sikh Blood Donation Campaign expresses peace and invites people around the world to participate in this humanitarian campaign. You don’t have to be Sikh to contribute to the blood drive as it is a campaign for all humanity!
