The Vancouver stop of mega Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s SLAM Tour seemed to have been cursed! First it was plagued by slow ticket sales due to TOIFA negativity and the misery for promoters came down to the very last day, hour, minute with the longest delay a big Bollywood star show has ever seen in Vancouver due to flight delays from Chicago! But alas with the stars arriving early Saturday and enjoying Vancouver and the dancers and crew eventually making it to the show late giving more headaches to promoters, SLAM show did go on and the stars did their best given the disruptions caused by delays. But the show was not even near what was promised and was mostly a bore but fans really dug it and enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the turnout ended up not being bad either as die-hard fans did come down and stayed till well past midnight.
