SURREY – South Asian youngster Kaden Manji is campaigning for cash on behalf of Variety – The Children’s Charity. Kaden and eleven other kids from around the province are kicking off the 10th annual Kids Coin Drive for Variety this week to raise money for children who have special needs. All of the kids involved in the coin drive have been helped in some way by Variety and fundraise with one common goal – to ensure that Variety is there for other children as it was for them.

Kaden has severe language and speech delays. His lack of communication skills hindered his ability to attend a daycare or preschool. Variety provided funding for speech and language therapy as well as occupational therapy. Kaden’s verbal skills have greatly improved and he is now able to communicate clearly with others. This is Kaden’s first year fundraising for Variety through the Kids Coin Drive.

You can help Kaden raise money for children who have special needs by dropping off your coins at any Marketplace IGA or BMO throughout BC or at any other participating partners in your area. For a complete list of drop locations or to donate online, please visit www.kidscoindrive.ca.

Since its inception, the Kids Coin Drive for Variety has raised over $1.6 million. Help us help kids by supporting the Coin Kid in your community. You really can make a difference in the life of a child.
