Yes all you Justin Trudeau – haters give it a rest! This is a non-issue as technically he is still using the same staff as Harper did so there is no extra money to taxpayers if you want to be technical. So far the guy made Canada proud at the Paris Climate talks with one of the best speeches of any world leaders and we are crying about paying two domestic workers like $15-20 an hour and $11 to 13 an hour! Really Pittance compared to what the Conservatives wasted. Their navy ship building exercise has doubled in price from $14 billion to over $30 billion – you know how many nannies you can hire for that?

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s critics came out swinging on the Nanny-Gate fiasco, saying rich-kid Justin should pay for his own nannies and not saddle taxpayers with the cost of raising his three young children.

“Mr. Trudeau repeatedly, repeatedly said, ‘I am wealthy,’ Mr. Trudeau said, ‘My family is rich, we don’t need to use taxpayer dollars for our child care.’ And now he is,” Interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose told reporters Wednesday.

Well all you Justin Trudeau haters can give it a rest!

This is a non-issue as technically he is still using the same staff as former divisive PM Stephen Harper did so there is no extra money to taxpayers if you want to be specific in terms of extra money being spent.

So far Trudeau has made Canada proud at the Paris Climate talks with one of the best speeches of any world leaders and we are crying about paying two domestic workers like $15-20 an hour and $11 to 13 an hour.

Really!

It’s a pittance compared to what the Conservatives wasted. Their navy ship building exercise has doubled in price from $14 billion to over $30 billion – you know how many nannies you can hire for that?

It was reported Monday that taxpayers are paying the wages of two nannies who care for the children of Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau.

The hirings were approved late last week, with cabinet authorizing the appointment of the two women under the Official Residences Act as “special assistants” at the prime minister’s residence.

The women will earn between $15 and $20 an hour for work during the day and a lower amount when working at night.
