The King And Queen Of Bollywood Romance’s Show Shifted Due To Canadian Consulate Strike But Purchased Tickets Good For New Date!

SURREY – Bollywood’s finest playback singers Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik  will now be coming to Vancouver on Sunday, September 22 due to visa delay because of the ongoing strike at Canadian consulates around the globe.

We apologize for any inconvenience but these are circumstances beyond our control,” said the promoter New Waves Productions. “If you have already purchased tickets they can be used for September 22 at 6:30 pm.”

Narayan and Yagnik  will be delivering a special Romantic Evening of concert promoted by Surinder Sanghera and his New Waves Productions after the great success of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Satinder Sartaaj shows.

The duo will be playing the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sept. 22 at 6:30 pm in what promises to be a great evening of music. They will be joined by Narayan’s talented son for a special musical treat.

Narayan, who has made a great team with Yagnik for their countless Bollywood film classics, has sung in 32 languages. He has won three National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards. In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India and also awarded the Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu by the late King of Nepal ‘Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev’ .

Crowned the King of Bollywood Music, Narayan has sung more than 25,000 songs in more than 30 languages. He is one of the most acclaimed singers of the present generation.
